Workshop Schedule: Day 1: 9am – 4pm
Photographing newborn babies and an older awake baby/ lifestyle session
The following topics will be covered:
• Settling and posing sleepy babies safely
• Creating polished images that ‘pop’
• Getting off the beanbag and using props with confidence
• How to successfully introduce colour into your work
• Wrapping with ease
• Preparing setups and styling
• Using flowers successfully in a set up
• How to use natural light effectively

• Getting variety from every setup and shooting to sell
• Nailing gorgeous awake shots
• Learn how to introduce lifestyle shots to your session
• Shooting for 100+ final image galleries
• Giving direction to clients for natural looking images
• Getting It Right In Camera: How to save hours on the computer 6pm Group dinner when you can chat to Luisa & Elise in a relaxed atmosphere and reflect on the day’s learning.

Lunch, snacks and beverages will all be provided. Dinner will not be provided.

Class sizes will be limited to 12-14 places depending on the studio hosting venue space however the class sizes will be no bigger than 14 places.

These workshops are not aimed at those just starting out in newborn photography – it’s aimed at photographers who already photograph newborns and want to ‘polish’ their skills and learn how to improve their business. Camera & shooting basics won’t be covered and attendees must be confident in shooting manual. You will need to bring a DSLR and ideally a prime lens.  Familiarity with photoshop is a must for the editing and post-production section of the workshop.
